2024 Te Whare Āniwaniwa
Project Launch

28 November 2024

The Tāmaki Makaurau Rainbow community was invited to celebrate the project launch at the Charlotte Museum in Newton.

Guests were welcomed by Te Whare Āniwaniwa Collective Board members and staff.  Te Whare Āniwaniwa patrons Chloe Swarbrick and Richard Hills spoke about the benefits of a rainbow centre/hub for Tāmaki Makaurau's queer communities and the need for all the communities and allles to come together in the current climate.

The collective is setting up a community advisory panel to provide advice to the board as the project progresses.  The launch provided an opportunity for people to express interest in joining either the Trust Board or the community advisory panel - Community Collaborative Committee (CAC).  Anyone interested is asked to complete the Registration of Interest Form below.
