The Community Advisory Collab met for the first time in March 2025 and has over 30 members from a wide range of rainbow organisations in Tāmaki Makaurau.
The function of the Collaborative is to assist the Te Whare Āniwaniwa Collective Board by:
• providing feedback and advice on proposals and suggestions relating to the development of a Rainbow services and social hub, Te Whare Āniwaniwa.
• reviewing the planning and activities associated with the implementation of Te Whare Āniwaniwa when requested by the board.
• Collaborate with other members to meet the outcomes of Te Whare Āniwaniwa and input into planning and development of the hub and its spaces and functions.
