The Community Advisory Collab met for the first time in March 2025 and has over 30 members from a wide range of rainbow organisations in Tāmaki Makaurau.
The function of the Collaborative is to assist the Te Whare Āniwaniwa Collective Board by:
providing feedback and advice on proposals and suggestions relating to the development of a Rainbow services and social hub, Te Whare Āniwaniwa.
reviewing the planning and activities associated with the implementation of Te Whare Āniwaniwa when requested by the board.
collaborate with other members to meet the outcomes of Te Whare Āniwaniwa and input into planning and development of the hub and its spaces and functions.
